Agent-drafted interpretation, pending human review

The repo-side quantitative analysis is partially materialized at path:experiments/synthetic_sequences/disentangled/analysis/aggregates/synthetic-pretrained-disentangled-from-entangled-v2-continuous-v2/, but the interpretive writeup is intentionally deferred here because the collection is still incomplete (33/36 cells complete, 3/36 running) and because this turn prioritizes the observational results.md deliverable.

Candidate interpretation topics to revisit after review:

1. whether the apparent ELBO gain at dim=64 reflects useful extra capacity or a different failure mode than the low-KL / TWR regimes;
2. whether the regressions for the dim=64 low-KL and TWR settings indicate that the larger latent mostly weakens pressure toward compact strategy structure rather than helping expressivity;
3. whether the zero-beta accuracy drop at dim=64 should be treated as a real tradeoff or as an artifact of the remaining unfinished base_conversion cell.
